While sheltering during the COVID pandemic of 2020, I have been distanced from my work and my darkroom and confined to the home. This intimate time and space with my family has provided us the opportunity to share stories and ideas, play instruments, and live in each other's light, quite literally. These cyanotypes are a product of this time during which my young children begin to edge their way into young adulthood. As the pencil marks measuring their height continue to inch their way up the kitchen door frame, shadows move across the sensitized cloth exposed in our driveway, quarantined moments marked by the sun.
